Welcome, dear Creators of the Macabre

After registration (form below), your application will be considered thoroughly. You can expect an answer before the end of 2025 for Danse Macabre 2026 in Sint Augustinus Kerk AMUZ. Make sure to check your spam!

To provide a safe and kind space for all kinds of artists (full time or next to a day job), we will only consider artists (of any kind). If you provide resell or retail, there are other events that you can register to, but not ours. We want creativity and one of a kind art.

 

We go for quality not quantity. Bigger doesn't mean better.

Logistics:

 

Your booth shall be your stage of shadows, your chamber of curiosities. Each artist will be provided:

    •    One sturdy table (≈ 75 cm x1m80), ready to bear your tools, trinkets, and temptations.

    •    A backdrop wall, perfect for hanging works, tapestries, or other haunting displays.

    •    Two chairs, though you may bring a throne should your craft demand it.

    •    A modest expanse of space, enough to accommodate a tattoo chair or other devices of delightful transformation.

 

The venue offers general lighting and electricity, to keep the darkness at bay. Should your art demand a more dramatic glow, you must summon your own focused lamps or spotlights. We encourage you to dress your booth not as a mere market stall, but as an immersive experience; an eerie sanctum that whispers your story. Setting up your stage is possible 1 hour before general opening times. 

 

Sustenance will be available in the form of drinks and light snacks (card or cash).

General booth information can deviate lightly from the above measurements, with regards to the venue (kerk Attenhoven VS Sint Augustinus Kerk AMUZ).  Make sure to check your artist info after election.

For the 14-15th of March edition in Sint Augustinus Kerk AMUZ, we ask for a small dark fee of: 

- 150 euro for a booth for 1 day

- 250 euro for a booth for the whole weekend

​

This includes a similar setting as mentioned above, yet this will be communicated closer to the event. 

Fee includes the unique setting at a prime location.

We welcome all kinds of arts, so if a backdrop and a table are no use for your art (e.g. large statues), we can discuss what suits your art the best in our lovely church. Please email lotte@dansemacabre.be
